LLP firms must file annual forms with the government every year. We handle all the paperwork so you can focus on client work.
Last reviewed:
Limited Liability Partnership or LLP is a popular business structure for professional firms like CA practices, consulting companies, and law firms. Every year, you must file your accounts and annual return with the government. This keeps your LLP active and in good standing.
The main forms you file are Form 8 (Statement of Accounts) and Form 11 (Annual Return). If your business turnover is above Rs 40 lakh, you also need an audit report. Many people find this confusing, but we make it simple by handling everything.
Missing LLP filing deadlines costs you money. The penalty for late Form 8 or Form 11 is Rs 100 per day of delay. There is no upper cap on this penalty, so it keeps growing. If you miss filing for 2 years, your penalty could cross Rs 70,000. The Registrar can also strike off your LLP for continued non-filing.
Already overdue? We see this all the time. Many professionals get busy with client work and forget about compliance for years. We can file all your pending Form 8 and Form 11 returns, calculate the exact penalty amount, and get your LLP back on track. The earlier you act, the lower your total penalty.
We manage your accounts, prepare both forms, arrange audit if needed, and file everything on time. You get the filing confirmation and can focus on your professional practice. We also send you reminders well before the May 30 and October 30 deadlines so nothing slips through.

If your LLP turnover is above Rs 40 lakh in a financial year, or partner contribution exceeds Rs 25 lakh, audit is mandatory. Below these limits, no audit is needed. We calculate your numbers and tell you.
The penalty is Rs 100 per day of delay with no upper cap. Form 11 is due by May 30. If you file 3 months late, that is Rs 9,000. Six months late means Rs 18,000. The penalty applies separately to each form.
Even if your LLP has zero income, you still must file Form 8 and Form 11 every year. We file nil returns quickly. It is simple but skipping it leads to penalties.
LLP files Form 8 and Form 11. Pvt Ltd files AOC-4 and MGT-7A. LLP compliance is simpler and cheaper. Audit threshold for LLP is Rs 40 lakh turnover, while Pvt Ltd threshold is Rs 1 crore. LLP also has fewer meetings and board requirements.
Form 8 (Statement of Accounts) deadline is October 30. Form 11 (Annual Return) deadline is May 30. These are two different deadlines in the same year. We track both and file on time.
